Depending on what game you are playing, “Finding Elise” (or finding her again) refers to two major objectives in popular gaming franchises: Assassin’s Creed Unity and Fable III. Assassin’s Creed Unity (Level 9 / High Society)
In Assassin’s Creed Unity, tracking down and saving Élise de la Serre is a primary driving force of the narrative. There are a few key points in the game where finding her is the focal objective:
The “High Society” Mission: In Sequence 1, Memory 3, Arno must infiltrate the Palace of Versailles undetected to find Élise at a high-society masquerade ball. You must sneak past multiple rooms of patrolling guards, time your movements from cover, and reach the ballroom to trigger her cutscene.
Arno’s Chronicles (Level 9): In the mobile/side-scroller spin-off Assassin’s Creed Unity: Arno’s Chronicles, Level 9 is officially titled “Finding Élise”.
Later Story Arcs: Arno frequently has to locate, rescue, or team up with Élise across Paris as she seeks vengeance for her father’s murder.

If you are playing Fable III, finding Elise happens much later in the game after making a critical choice during the prologue.
The Setup: At the start of the game, you are forced to choose whether to execute your childhood sweetheart, Elise (or Elliot if playing as a female Hero), or a group of protesters.
Locating Her: If you chose to spare Elise, she disappears for the first half of the game. After you build your alliance and explore Bowerstone Industrial, a man named Laszlo will approach you for a side-quest called “Kidnapped”.
The Rescue: Following this linear quest leads you into the shifting sands/dungeons where you discover that Laszlo’s “kidnapped fiancée” is actually Elise.
The Decision: Once you rescue her, you can convince her to leave Laszlo for you (which incurs a small morality penalty). If you choose to be with her, she will wait for you outside the Bowerstone Orphanage a few days later, allowing you to propose and marry her.
